I am currently studying communication design at the Fachhochschule Potsdam, Germany.

My primary creative focus is illustration. I use it to tell quiet visual stories, paying close attention to atmosphere, tension, emotion and the spaces in between.
Typography plays an integral part in my design practice. I treat it as more than a tool for communication, using it as an expressive part of the visual language. In addition I have designed two typefaces to date, the variable font Lavya and the display font Exstrava.
Having worked as a graphic designer for both a magazine and an agency, editorial design lets me bring together typography, layout and storytelling, creating work that is both taylored and full of character.
While not my main area of expertise, motion adds another layer of expression to my work, bringing illustrations, typography and digital designs to life
Web design lets me extend my work into digital spaces. With a foundation in HTML and CSS, I coded and designed this website myself.
Practical experience as a camera assistant at a TV and online channel gave me a strong eye for photography and videography as well as confidence handling professional camera equipment.
Designing and tayloring garments is my personal craft. Complimenting my largely digital design work with a hands on approach, I create pieces mainly for myself, occasionally for others.
